After a fabulous reaction from the crowd the previous night in Bath, it was a shame that the band's first gig at the world famous Cavern Club should have been in front of such a mixed audience of foreign tourists and beered-up stag night boys. But the band didn't let the disappointment show as they performed their usual set with confidence. However, an appearance on BBC Radio Liverpool not only results in airplay for the single, but after likening a Rinaldi Sings track to ’60s pop legends Honeybus, the band receive an interested letter from Honeybus singer Colin Hare.

A good sized crowd packed into Moles Club for the weekly Purr club-night to see Rinaldi Sings headlining an eclectic bill of oddball pop. Although at odds with the style of the supports, the band received a rapturous reception, with the crowd still chanting for more five minutes after the group had exited the stage. A broken guitar string curtailed the set one song short of the full set – and for the first time traditional set-closer 'Heaven Knows' became the encore. Read a review of the gig…
