I was lucky enough to be at this gig and it was one of the most powerful I've seen this year. By the way, who did the original version of 'Magic Carpet Ride'?

'On A Magic Carpet Ride' was originally recorded by Kiki Dee as a 1967 or 1968 b-side. It later found fame at the Wigan Casino in the early 70s. The song was written by Teddy Randazzo and Victoria Pike, famous for many of the hits by Little Anthony and the Imperials.
