The first Rinaldi Sings gig of 2005 saw Steve and the band return to one of their favourite clubnights, Bitterscene at the Bassment Club in Chelmsford. Richard Hunter returned to the drum stool after guesting as percussionist at the previous gig, and new bass player Simon Lloyd stepped seamlessly into the band. For the first time, Tim Pannell added second guitar and backing vocals to his trumpet/French horn role.
